Nabaté Isles is a Grammy-winning trumpeter as well as a composer and producer, born and raised in New York City. Nabaté released his debut album called, Eclectic Excursions in the Summer of 2018, the independent album was in the Top-50 in the JazzWeek charts for 6 weeks, receiving critical acclaim. His latest album, En Motion  (released on Ropeadope Records) features Sam Barsh (also the album’s producer), Eric Harland, Mumu Fresh, Kardinal Offishall and the iconic Chuck D. Tracks have been featured on multiple Digital Music playlists as En Motion spotlights all types of genres from Jazz to Hip-Hop to R&B to House to Caribbean to Funk.

Nabaté has performed, toured and/or recorded with unique artists Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def), Christian McBride, Philip Bailey, Jill Scott, Robert Glasper, Dianne Reeves, José James, Savion Glover, Oliver Lake, Ravi Coltrane, Steve Coleman, Steve Wilson, Gregory Porter, Freda Payne, the Mingus Big Band and others. Nabaté was a part of the trumpet section for all three of Christian McBride Big Band’s Grammy-winning albums as well as the band’s performance at the White House for the last concert under President Barack Obama’s administration.
