In The Village, the history of activism for the rights of LGBTQIA+ is inspiring. This history, and the continued fight for rights, even in 2026, is why The Village is one of the most incredible places in the world.

Revolutionary voices like Stormé DeLarverie, Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, Bob Kohler, Dick Leitsch, The Gay Activists Alliance, S.T.A.R., and the Gay Liberation Front have given us so much.

Pride isn’t just about being comfortable in your own skin, accepting others, and loving who you are. It’s also about having pride in our history. In those who fought for us to be able to love who we are.

The Village Trip will always support LGBTQIA+.
