A drag celebration of BIPOC LGBTQ heroes, Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, and Stormé DeLarverie, at the Stonewall Inn, the place where it all began. The event is sponsored by The New School.

The Village Trip Classical Team, guitarist William Anderson and pianist Joan Forsyth, join forces with several powerful co-presenters, all with distinct musical passions, assembling over 100 groundbreaking composers and performers covering an incredible range from Missy Mazzoli to Elliott Carter, with Pulitzer Prize-winners Tania Leon and Mel Powell, presented at fun and colorful venues throughout Greenwich Village.
A 17-day celebration of the cultural legacy of Greenwich Village and the East Village, two of New York’s most celebrated neighborhoods. From September 8 through September 24, more than sixty events will energize Downtown Manhattan in a diverse family-friendly program that reflects and honors the free-spirited creativity that for more than a century has made the neighborhood a truly global village and the birthplace of so many shape-shifting movements in both the arts and civil society.
