Oren Fader plays both traditional and contemporary classical guitar repertoire. He has performed throughout the United States and internationally, as a soloist and chamber musician, including the new music ensembles Cygnus and Parnassus, and with orchestras. His work includes Glimmerglass Opera, Brooklyn Philharmonic, the Met Chamber Ensemble, New York City Ballet, and the New York Festival of Song. He has premiered over 30 solo and chamber works. Oren received his undergraduate degree from SUNY Purchase, and his Master of Music (Performance) from Florida State University. He has been on the guitar faculty and directed the Guitar Chamber Music program at the Manhattan School of Music.
