Oboist Megan Wojtyła is a versatile performer and educator with a particular passion for contemporary music and inclusive music accessibility. She has worked as a guest artist with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Riverside Symphony, and Cygnus Ensemble. A devoted chamber musician, Megan performs nationally and internationally as a member and co-director of the acclaimed Voyager Reed Quintet, based in New York City. Assistant Professor of Oboe at Ithaca College, she also serves as a regular guest professor at Western Michigan University and has given masterclasses at Boston Conservatory, University of Houston, University of Delaware, and Syracuse University. She previously served as the Adjunct Professor of Oboe at Molloy University from 2023 to 2025.
Megan earned her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Michigan and her Master of Music degree at Stony Brook University, studying under Dr Nancy Ambrose King and James Austin Smith, respectively. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, she enjoys splitting her time between Ithaca and New York City.
