Holly George-Warren is a two-time Grammy nominee and the award-winning author of 16 books, most recently Janis: Her Life and Music. She has written for Rolling Stone, The New York Times, The Times Literary Supplement, Time.com, Entertainment Weekly, and MOJO, among others. She teaches at the State University of New York in New Paltz and is a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominating committee. She is currently working on a new biography of Jack Kerouac.
