This comprehensive walking tour explores the crucible for avant-garde arts and social change that the East Village has been for the last eighty years.
East Village artist Marc Kehoe leads you down the Bowery, across St Marks Place and through the edgy East Village to see the sites of galleries, the residences and studios of artists, poets, musicians, and photographers and the avant-garde clubs and bars where American culture was forever changed.
At the conclusion of the tour, clients will have the opportunity to get coffee or snack at a nearby café and continue the discussion with Kehoe.
