Johnson, Sylvia Rivera and Storm\u00e9 DeLarverie. Fundraising for the First Statue Honoring a Trans Person in New Jersey Commemorating Marsha P. Johnson<\/p>\n<p>A drag celebration of BIPOC LGBTQ+ heroes, Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, and Storm\u00e9 DeLarverie, at the Stonewall Inn, the place where it all began. The event, which is sponsored by The New School, will draw attention to the epidemic of violence against trans women of color that remains more than 50 years later. Legendary Queen, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theharmonicasunbeam.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harmonica Sunbeam<\/a>, will host and headline a BIPOC drag lineup to raise funds for a statue of Marsha P. Johnson in her hometown of Elizabeth, NJ, the first-ever recognizing a trans person in the state. There will also be a special vogue performance honoring O\u2019Shea Sibley by Blair. Other performers will include: ballroom icon, <a href=\"https:\/\/rooftopfilms.com\/performer\/egyptt-labeija\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Egyptt LaBeija<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mistymountainsd\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Misty Mountains Davenport - Miss Stonewall 2023<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flamecon.org\/harriet-tugsmen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harriet Tugsmen - MX Rockbar 2023<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/unclefreak2020\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Uncle Freak<\/a>, and pianist, Lyra Vega. Music by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/djchaunceyd\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DJ Chauncey D<\/a>.
