DESCRIPTION:HB Studio hosts a conversation with Cherry Lane Alternative Founding Artistic Director Angelina Fiordellisi\, Managing Director/Cherry Lane Theatre historian Mary Geerlof\, and playwrights of the Cherry Lane Mentor Project: Anton Dudley\, David Henry Hwang\, Lisa Ramirez\, and Alfred Uhry. Founded in 1923 as the Cherry Lane Playhouse\, the Cherry Lane Theatre marks its 100th anniversary this year. Fiordellisi has recently passed the theatre’s torch to A24\, the indie film company that produced Everything Everywhere All at Once and Moonlight.
