The theme for the night is Musical Activism – Songs of Dissent and Hope.\nThe theme for the night is Musical Activism – Songs of Dissent and Hope and the doyennes of Vocal Gumbo – Janis Siegel (of The Manhattan Transfer) and Lauren Kinhan (of New York Voices) have planned a feast for the aching heart\, the activist mind\, and the hope for a brighter future. Featuring the evocative and uncompromising talents of Lea DeLaria (TV – Orange is the New Black) – whose opinions and fierce musicality strike with clarity and refreshing honesty.
