SUMMARY:Old-Fashioned Coffee House Night: David Roth and a Singer-Songwriter Showcase
DESCRIPTION:The Peoples’ Voice Café in partnership with The Village Trip\nGet into a 1960s groove as Peoples’ Voice Café takes you back to the era of subterranean Greenwich Village coffee houses. No microphones\, no amps\, no speakers and of course no live-streaming. Just acoustic instruments and natural voices with chairs arranged in a circle and the lights low. Home-made music as it was and still can be.\nAfter David Roth’s 45-minute set\, five less known but very talented singer-songwriters will each perform two of their songs: Fred Arcoleo\, Jane Babits\, Joel Landy\, Bracha Lieberman\, and Lindsey Wilson. \nThe Peoples’ Voice Cafe is an alternative coffee house offering quality entertainment. We provide a space for the artistic expression of a wide variety of humanitarian issues and concerns. The cafe is a collectively run not-for-profit corporation and is not affiliated with any political organization. New active participants are always welcome. \nAdmission: Pay at the Door\n \n\nSuggested contribution: $20\nFriends of PVC: $12\nStudents & Youth: $12\nFolk Music Society of NY Members: $12\nJudson Memorial Church Members: $12\nMore if you choose\, less if you can’t.
